Zero Trust and isolation: every access checked, every device shielded.

Who Jimber is
Jimber is a Belgian security company from Oostkamp, in West Flanders, not far from our office. It was founded in 2018 by Kristof Van Stappen and Jonas Delrue, and focuses on what large security brands often leave aside: affordable Zero Trust for SMEs and manufacturers. Jimber sells through IT partners like us. According to Jimber, it protected more than 24,000 devices across Europe at the end of 2025.
The problem Jimber solves
In a traditional network every device can talk to every other one. If one laptop, printer or camera is infected, an attacker can move on from there, to the server or the machines in the workshop. A VPN often makes it worse: whoever is connected sees everything.
Jimber turns that around. Every device is shielded and only gets access to what it needs. An infected device then stays an isolated problem.
What Jimber does
Network isolation with Zero Trust
Users and devices get access to exactly the applications they need, and that is checked again with every connection. That includes home workers and suppliers doing remote maintenance.
Machines and devices without software
A PLC in the workshop, a printer or a smart device cannot run security software. Jimber places a small controller in front of it, which shields the device without anything having to change on it.
One platform for the whole connection
Besides isolation, the platform includes a firewall in the cloud, a filter for safe browsing, protection on devices and management of the links between sites.
The devices
| Device | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Network Controller | Shielding an office network, in versions for copper, fibre and 10 Gbit, up to 750 devices |
| Industrial controller | For the cabinet in the workshop, with a gateway to the machines, up to 200 devices |
| NIAC | A small unit to shield one or two machines or printers |
Where your data is kept
According to Jimber, all data stays in Europe and is processed in the EU.

We use Jimber for secure access from outside and to divide the network into zones, especially at businesses with machines or production. See Network & connectivity and Security.
Frequently asked questions
Does Jimber replace our firewall?
It can, but it does not have to. We look at each situation to decide whether the existing firewall stays or Jimber’s platform takes over that role.
Do our machines have to be stopped?
No. The controller sits between the network and the device, without changing anything on the machine itself. We schedule it for when it disrupts production least.

Your network shielded
Together we look at which devices there are, what needs to talk to what, and where an attacker has free rein today.
